Alastair Phillips has been shortlisted for the 'Excellent Supervision' award at the Annual Warwick Research Celebration. The event takes place on Monday 7 April (13:30–18:30) at The Slate. The awards will be presented between 14:00 and 15:00

'Screening Venice' Module Off to a Flying Start

Film and Television Studies at Warwick has recently introduced an innovative intensive on-site undergraduate module based in Venice. Screening Venice offers students the chance to engage with the past of Venice’s long screen history, today’s Venice Film Festival and the future water cultures of the wider lagoon.

No Cash Slash: Horror and the Gothic Film Festival, 1-2 July 2023

On Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of July, Horror and the Gothic students will be hosting the annual Horror and the Gothic film festival. It’s called No Cash Slash, and features an exciting selection of films and activities. The festival is free admission, and begins at 15:00 on Saturday the 1st in the FAB cinema (FAB 0.21). Film and Television Studies at Warwick has been ranked #1 in the UK in our subject area for Overall Satisfaction, Teaching and Academic Support in the 2021 National Student Survey, where we scored 92.9% for Overall Satisfaction and 93.1% for Teaching.
