      <title>Viva Success: Congratulations to Elena Talavera Escribano</title>

Her examiners were Professor Shlomo Tarba (University of Birmingham) and Professor Perry Hinton, and Elena&#8217;s thesis was entitled &#8220;Quantifying Scattered Images: A Novel Measurement Tool to Assess Their Impact on Employee Well-Being and Corporate Identity&#8221;.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;This year, WICAL will be held online (28th - 30th June 2021) and we look forward to welcoming even more scholars, presenters, and attendants from across the world. Our theme is &#8216;Crossing Boundaries&#8217;, so we welcome interdisciplinary topics in the area of Applied Linguistics.&lt;/p&gt;
