Returning staff and students may not have seen the media reports in August that Warwick Mathematics student Tom Jagger was declared missing whilst climbing in the Peruvian Andes. Tom had just completed the third year of his MMath degree before embarking on this trip.

The University is saddened to report that one of WMG’s full-time Masters students Zhongqiang (Frank) Wang, was suddenly taken ill on Tuesday 7 August and passed away late on Friday 10 August 2012.
