      <title>On Saturday 11th December, from 08:00, an update to the Kyocera printer drivers will take place</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;On Saturday 11th December, from 08:00, an update to the Kyocera printer drivers will take place. Disruption to the printing service is not expected and no customer action is required.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This update will provide enhanced document and device compatibility, increased stability, extended support for device fonts, and a broad spectrum of bug fixes. This update affects both Managed and Unmanaged Windows devices.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There may be a slight delay before the push or pull print queue is operational. Mac, Linux/Unix, CUPS, Mobile Print and HP print queue customers are not affected by this change.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Monday 1st November - Printing issues on Windows 10 devices @10AM</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;We are aware of a printing issue related to the latest October patches from Microsoft.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Impacted customers are advised to use the Mobile Print Service as a workaround.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Slow Mobile Print Email Performance</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;We are aware of customers experiencing &lt;strong&gt;occasional slow processing performance&lt;/strong&gt; with the &lt;strong&gt;Mobile Print Email&lt;/strong&gt; service.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We ask that customer's do not resend their email to the &lt;strong&gt;mobile.printing@warwick.ac.uk&lt;/strong&gt; or &lt;strong&gt;mobile.printing.hp@warwick.ac.uk&lt;/strong&gt; resource accounts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Your patience is very much appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Options 1 and 2&lt;/strong&gt; of our Mobile Print Service remain unaffected and can be used as normal.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>MacOS printing via SMB/spoolss is currently unavailable</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;MacOS printing via SMB/spoolss is &lt;strong&gt;currently unavailable&lt;/strong&gt; to our &lt;strong&gt;HP and Kyocera Push and Pull Print queues&lt;/strong&gt; because of the raised level of authentication security which Microsoft have recommended be used to secure print servers globally.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The only available workaround at present is &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/services/it-students/how-to/printing-scanning/faqs/mobileprint" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;AirPrint or MobilePrint&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Please log a call with the &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/services/its/servicessupport/helpdesk/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;IT Helpdesk&lt;/a&gt; with any queries you may have. We apologise for the inconvenience caused. We will continue to develop a long term resolution to this issue.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Student Printing Facilities - Now available within Junction (Hall 1 and Reception)</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Printing Services have relocated and deployed two additional &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/services/it-students/how-to/printing-scanning/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Kyocera Student Printing MFDs&lt;/a&gt; into &lt;a href="http://campus-cms.warwick.ac.uk/share/5cf5f28b7778e9de0f391298c5f40d1f" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Junction Hall 1&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://campus-cms.warwick.ac.uk/share/96e89cbce5c774e1866dc65edc196ffe" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Reception&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is to allow for improved study and learning capabilities on campus in light of the continued Covid 19 situation and associated building lockdowns.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Additional Student Print Facilities within the Rootes Building</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Printing Services have relocated and deployed two additional &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/services/it-students/how-to/printing-scanning/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Kyocera Student Printing MFDs&lt;/a&gt; into the &lt;strong&gt;Rootes Flexigrid&lt;/strong&gt; and the &lt;strong&gt;Chancellors Suite&lt;/strong&gt; within the &lt;a href="http://campus-cms.warwick.ac.uk/share/61b81540d8a83a2e8c9f2343f64c9d11" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Rootes Building&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is to allow for improved study and learning capabilities on campus in light of the continued Covid 19 situation and associated building lockdowns.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Update of installed Kyocera printer drivers - From 08:00am, Monday 14th December 2020</title>

      <description>&lt;p class="newsItemTitle"&gt;Following customer feedback and internal testing activities we will update the Kyocera printer driver currently in use across all ITS Windows print servers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;div class="newsItemAbstract" style="background-color: #ffffff;"&gt; 
  &lt;p&gt;This will provide for enhanced document and device compatibility, stability and will enhance the support for device fonts and provide a broad spectrum of bug fixes.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p&gt;No customer action or disruption to service is expected.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p&gt;The update will take place silently and at most cause a minimal delay before the push or pull print queue is operational once more.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p&gt;This should be the position for both Managed and unmanaged Windows platforms.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p&gt;Mac, Linux/Unix, CUPS, Mobile Print and HP print queue customers are unaffected by this change.&lt;/p&gt;

  &lt;p&gt;Any customers with concerns or questions should contact the &lt;a href="https://warwick.ac.uk/services/its/servicessupport/helpdesk/"&gt;ITS Helpdesk&lt;/a&gt; via the usual support channels.&lt;/p&gt;
