How long should self-isolation last?

If you test positive, your self-isolation period should begin on the day your symptoms started (or the day you had the test, if you did not have symptoms).

You can end your self-isolation after five full days if you test negative with a lateral flow test on day 5 and day 6 and do not have symptoms.

If you’re still testing positive, keep self-isolating until you get negative results on consecutive days or once you’ve self-isolated for 10 days (and no longer have symptoms).

Can I mix with my household or kitchen group?

If you have symptoms you should try to stay away from other people as much as possible.
