Bike Hangars

Bike Hangar

Bike Hangar

There are two bike hangars available to staff and students for controlled bike storage at the mobility hubs, located outside the Junction building and Car Park 1 on Gibbet Hill campus.

  • Size: Each Hangar houses 6 bikes and provides covered weather protection.
  • Family inclusive: With an ergonomical design, the additional space and height mean there is no need to remove child seats or baskets from the front or back of bikes.
  • Bike security: The six-place bike rack has three locking points, including the ability to use a ‘D’ lock through the rear wheel and frame.
  • Easy access: Features a single door with an integral lock and gas strut for assisted lifting.

Please Note

  • The hangars should not be used to store bikes for longer than one week.
  • The University reserves the right to remove any bikes that are stored for more than five consecutive days.
  • Any person failing to comply with this, will have their account and access to the hangar suspended.
