Exhibition and Drop-in activity
On the 20th April 2022 there is an exhibition of items created during this project.
The exhibition takes place on the Warwick Resonate Festival Family day.Link opens in a new windowLink opens in a new window The Resonate Festival is a celebration of Coventry's year as UK City of Culture, and the festival takes place at the University of Warwick.
International Collaboration: Stitching in Time and Place
There is now an international dimension to this project. Thanks to Susan Ettenheim in New York and Max Musau in Nairobi, groups of students in these cities are sharing images and patterns that inspire then, and developing their own designs in textiles using TurtleStitch.
Resonate Festival
On Tuesday 1 June 2021 we hosted one of the very first events for Resonate Festival, at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum for the Month of Invention, coordinated by the Innovative Manufacturing and Future Materials GRP. Read more and watch our video about the day here.
Project Launch - Teacher info & training session
With Coventry City of Culture starting in May, teachers are invited to sign up for an information and training session to learn more about running the Stitch In Time project with their year 5 or 6 class.
