City of Culture Project Funding 2019-2020
Call Details
We are excited to announce our final internal funding call for CoC2021 related research projects for the academic year 2019-2020. This call is funded by the University of Warwick’s institutional HEIF (Higher Education Innovation Fund) award and supported by the Connecting Cultures GRP. The call builds upon the work done by the City of Culture partnership, and Coventry City Council’s Cultural strategy. We invite applications of up to £3,000 to provide the groundwork for larger projects. We hope to receive applications from members of all Faculties and interdisciplinary collaboration is strongly encouraged.
In keeping with our CoC2021 research strategy and the City of Culture Trust’s key thematic areas of Collaborative, Caring and Dynamic City we are welcoming applications for projects exploring the role of arts and culture in tackling particular issues (such as loneliness or climate change) and specifically relating to one (or more) of the following broad research areas;

Eligibility
- The project must align to one or more of the above research areas.
- The PI will be employed by the University of Warwick and the project will use your academic research.

- We are particularly keen to see proposals involving communities traditionally under-represented whether because of ethnicity, disability, or socio-economic status.
