The Screening Rights Film Festival

The Screening Rights Film Festival is an international festival of social justice films which is now in its fifth year.

The festival came to Birmingham and Coventry in 2018, and featured screenings of some of the most interesting and highly acclaimed new films, as well as post-screening discussions with directors, producers and writers.

Screening Rights aims to instigate debate on the potential of film to trigger personal, social and political change. Michele Aaron (Film and Television Studies, University of Warwick - pictured right) is the festival’s Director, and is working to make 2021 its largest and most successful year yet.

The Festival will be primarily hosted at Warwick Arts Centre, whilst involving a range of other venues across Coventry.
