Urban Villages aims to bring together the Roma and non-Roma people to co-create a short film, images and a digital scrapbook exhibition that focuses on the experiences, identity and voices of the Roma people. The film will then be shared with relevant stakeholders and the wider community to foster closer links and challenge stereotypes.

The project is led by Dr Heidi Ashton (Centre for Culture and Media Policy Studies, University of Warwick - pictured right) and Rosemary (Rosa) Kostic Cisneros (Coventry), ( FAH Centre for Dance Research).
