Our students among other UK universities helped support the blood cancer charity in recruiting more than 1,000 students to sign up to the stem cell donor register from their ‘Marrow’ Society. Our Wellesbourne campus has become a partner in the Arden Farm Wildlife Network Tree Sparrow Project. The project brings together like-minded farmers to share best practice on how to improve their farm for wildlife whilst maintaining a productive farm. See how funding secured by the network has enabled us to install tree sparrow boxes as well as a barn owl box and restore their habitat and nesting sites.

Three University of Warwick academics have been recognised in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

The University of Warwick has been named as one of the UK’s top 10 and one of the Europe’s top 20 universities in two new league tables.

The new tables find that Warwick has risen in the 2022 QS World University Rankings to at 61^st in the world – making Warwick one of Europe’s top 20 universities – and has been placed 10^th in the UK by the Complete University Guide.

A new report commissioned by Midlands Innovation universities has highlighted the contribution made by University of Warwick-based Minerva Business Angels to the region’s investment ecosystem.

Highways England is investing in the A46 in Coventry to unlock congestion, improve journey reliability and support economic growth across the West Midlands. Between now and when the new junction opens in Spring 2022, there will be changes to the road layout and at times some lanes or roads may be closed. You’ll still be able to get to where you need to go, but the road network may be busier than usual so allow extra time for your journey.

Researchers have been awarded funding to work with a global leader in the speciality chemicals industry to create cleaner and greener chemical processing methods for everyday products in a bid to help the government meet its carbon neutral targets.

A group of Coventry and Warwickshire dads have created a set of online videos to help fathers of disabled children be the best dads that they can be.

Just before the Easter weekend, two conscientious groups of Warwick students joined forces with other members of the local community to volunteer for Coventry Foodbank, helping to pack 3,100 food parcels to ensure local vulnerable families don’t go hungry this Easter.
