WHAT WE DO
Unlike the Earlsdon and Ekta-Unity sessions, Cheylesmore does not operate on a drop in basis. The elderly learners will have signed up to attend a block of three sessions in advance. Volunteers must commit to a block of three sessions so we can match you up with the same elderly learner each session. This gives both the volunteer and the learner a great opportunity to build up a relationship as you work together each week and we find that this allows you to get to know the learners skill level and as such they tend to get more out of the sessions.
You can register your interest to volunteer for the first block of sessions here by filling out the form. If you do intend to sign up please check that you can attend all three dates in the first block. The sign up for block two will take place later on in the term so don't worry if you are unable to volunteer for the first block!
Charlotte is the project leader for the Cheylesmore sessions. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to send her an email at cgnretiredrewired at warwick dot ac dot uk
