The Cook and Eat Well team are here to help Coventry residents make healthy food choices. We offer free 9 week healthy cooking courses which centre around developing peoples’ cooking skills, understanding of healthy eating and build confidence in cooking a meal from scratch on a budget.

Volunteering Opportunities

The Cook and Eat Well team have some opportunities available for people interested in volunteering with us.

Roles include providing support to session leaders during cooking courses and taster events, writing and compiling resources, logging data and general administration tasks.

Volunteers will be given on going training and supervision to support learning and development.

Location and Travel

Sessions will take place at different venues around Coventry.

Travel expenses are not reimbursed.

Time Commitment

There is no minimum time commitment.

Volunteers can join for one-off events or give a couple of mornings a week.

We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working with diverse communities and have an interest in cooking and healthy eating.

A DBS check will be carried out before a volunteer can begin volunteering.
