The Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind (CRCB) offers practical and social support to people with visual impairments in Coventry providing a wide range of volunteer-supported activities to help people learn new skills to manage their sight loss, access hobby activities or simply to take part in social gatherings. CRCB also sells a range of daily living aids, and runs a minibus service to allow visually impaired people to access the centre easily.

There are many different opportunities you could be involved in from fundraising support, facilitating access to gym sessions through to guiding and leading walks in the local area.

The level of commitment required will be entirely dependent on the role and level of involvement. Fundraising could be at any time. Other roles depending on availability and structure of the activities.

You will receive an introduction to the work of the Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind; sighted guide training and guidance on fundraising do’s and don’ts. Equality & Diversity training will also be provided as it becomes available; along with other training as required.
