Volunteering Opportunities

Help asylum seekers, refugees and migrants access suitable support services.

Help at the men’s or women’s social support group run to support asylum seekers, refugee and migrants and reduce social isolation and build confidence through an informal English class and other creative activities.

They also need volunteers for the Coventry Welcomes Festival, which Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre organise to celebrate Refugee week. Volunteers are needed across Coventry to support in various roles before and during the festival, from the 1st May until 22nd June 2019. How to get involved
Time Commitment

Varies depending on the role.

Volunteer Caseworkers are asked to volunteer for a minimum of 6 months due to the time it takes to train up volunteers.

This organisation reimburses reasonable volunteer travel expenses.

Requirements

Some roles may require a DBS check.
