Volunteering Opportunities
Block 1 text

1 - A community volunteering champion, who will work with our local services, supporting them to make volunteering a success, by providing best-practice support to our staff and volunteers, investigating, advertising and promoting volunteer roles according to the interests of the people we support, networking in the local area. This is a relatively new role and will provide a student with an opportunity to make a real contribution and help develop volunteering in the local area. We are looking for a regular commitment of a few hours a week – the role will be based in our local services.

2 – A volunteer storyteller. This role will act as an internal Dimensions journalist for the region. The volunteer’s responsibility will be to research and write/produce content based on our good news stories. This could be in blogs, articles, interviews, videos, podcasts etc. This role will have no set time requirement, but we will set a target of 1 good quality case study per month – as a result it will be a highly flexible role.

Many other opportunities are coming.
