Time Commitment

Wednesday and Sunday from 8:00pm-10:30/11pm.

Monday and Thursday morning from 7:30-9:30am.

A regular commitment of an evening or morning. There is a lot of setting up to do, each evening, with the bedding, and food. In the morning too there is a lot to clear up and pack away.

Requirements
Volunteers do not need to get a DBS check when they start volunteering at the shelter. However, a DBS check may be asked if the volunteers want to get involved in the long term.

Due to the Night Shelter client group representing a population with a higher than average incidence of Hepatitus B infection, Leamington Night Shelter advise all volunteers to receive a vaccination against Hepatitius B as an additional precaution.
This is an external opportunity

Warwick Volunteers cannot be held responsible for external volunteering opportunities advertised, but we do make every effort to ensure that all the information we publish is accurate. We advise volunteers to use their own judgement when selecting potential opportunities, and to check all details concerning prospective volunteering activity with the organisation involved. Please make sure that you have received all necessary training and information regarding your own health and safety before commencing volunteering.
