Volunteers do not need to get a DBS check when they start volunteering at the shelter. However, a DBS check may be asked if the volunteers want to get involved in the long term.

Due to the Night Shelter client group representing a population with a higher than average incidence of Hepatitus B infection, Leamington Night Shelter advise all volunteers to receive a vaccination against Hepatitius B as an additional precaution.
