Meeting point: 10:45 outside of Jephson gardens (the entrance on the Parade in front of the Pump Rooms) Leamington Spa

Join Warwick Plogging Society on Sunday 28th as we plog our way from Leamington Spa to Warwick! Plogging consists of litter picking and jogging at the same time but we’re not going to lie, most of us walk it. Feel free to run it if you can motivate yourself and others though! We aim to arrive at Warwick by 1pm where we will go for lunch at The Black Pug, a pub dating back to early 16th century! You can find their menu here:

 We will then have a bit of time to wander around Warwick and admire the castle (from afar).

 

Return to Leamington expected by 4pm, though this might be later depending on how long we spend having lunch and wandering around, anybody is welcome to return earlier so long as they let one of the session leaders know. You will be made aware of who these are before we begin.

Important information: bus travel expenses can be reimbursed to you by Warwick Volunteers so long as you keep a receipt. Lunch however is for you to pay for. If you do not want to join us for lunch, anybody is welcome to return earlier so long as you let one of the session leaders know.

Please wear warm waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear that you don’t mind getting muddy. 

By signing up to this event I also agree to give 48 hours notice if I need to cancel my place In addition, I will follow the University Guidance regarding coming onto campus and lateral flow tests.  I will not attend if I have COVID-19 like symptoms or have had contact with someone who is or is awaiting the result of a test.
