The Gap provides a safe, welcoming environment where everybody can meet existing or new friends and participate in social and physical activities; support groups; volunteering and learning – all with the aim of enhancing their overall quality of life.
The Gap runs a Youth Club 3 times a week for young people aged between 7-11 yrs old Monday & Tuesday 4pm – 7pm and 8-16 yrs old Wednesday 4.30pm -7.30pm.
They are looking for enthusiastic, energetic team players who want the experience in working with young people, willing to engage in activities and support youth workers.

Travel expenses are reimbursed by the organisation.
Sessions take place on:
- Monday & Tuesday, 4pm – 7pm for 7-11 yrs old
- Wednesday, 4.30pm -7.30pm for 8-16 yrs old
There is no minimum time commitment.
As part of the induction process the volunteers will receive information about the organisation, a tour of the centre, policies and procedures. Relevant training such as Child Protection and Health & Safety will be provided.
Additional training will provided where needed and there is a 30 minute period before and after the session for planning, setting up and evaluating when it is finished.
Volunteers will need to undertake a DBS Check and will be able to start volunteering as soon as the check is completed.
