Volunteering Opportunities

The Gap runs a Youth Club 3 times a week for young people aged between 7-11 yrs old Monday & Tuesday 4pm – 7pm and 8-16 yrs old
They are looking for enthusiastic, energetic team players who want the experience in working with young people, willing to engage in activities and support youth workers.

Time Commitment

Sessions take place on:
- Monday & Tuesday, 4pm – 7pm for 7-11 yrs old
There is no minimum time commitment.

Training

As part of the induction process the volunteers will receive information about the organisation, a tour of the centre, policies and procedures. Relevant training such as Child Protection and Health & Safety will be provided.
Additional training will provided where needed and there is a 30 minute period before and after the session for planning, setting up and evaluating when it is finished.
