UniAssist aids and supports sixth formers from non-traditional backgrounds that are applying to higher education to better their chances of acceptance.

This year we will be offering many different ways to get involved. We are keen to start recruitment for resources creation aimed at non-traditional university applicants, as well as our signature in person mentoring program, which we aim to start up as soon as possible.

This year we will be initially offering online services to schools in the local Canley and Coventry area. We aim to expand this to in person services by the end of this year, if regulations allow.

There is no set time requirement of mentors this year. We have many ways to become involved which we advertise on an ad-hoc basis, and as the situation changes, we will let our members know via email and social media.

Requirements
Block 4 text

No skills or experience required. Any training volunteers would need to attend will be online this year. DBS checks are beneficial but not essential if selected to be part of a school event either online or in person. We are very keen to have students from a wide range of academic disciplines at Warwick, especially if your subject isn't traditionally covered under other social mobility and access programmes.
