WCS Care Group Ltd currently runs 12 care homes across Warwickshire, 10 of which care for older people living with dementia or a range of different needs and 2 for people with physical disabilities or long term conditions.
They have opportunities for people dependent on their availability, from a one off voluntary visit, through to a regular weekly commitment.
One-offs are usually a project to improve the environment for the residents, such as a creating a themed area in the garden.
Weekly commitments would involve running an activity for the residents, this can be linked to the volunteer’s own hobbies and interests.
Time commitment and volunteering days are very flexible, although volunteers are expected to volunteer for at least two hours.
