We’re off to see the Wizard!

Three Spires Guildhall return to Warwick Arts Centre after their 2017 smash hit Priscilla – Queen of the Desert and now they invite you to join them over the rainbow for their latest production, The Wizard of Oz.

With 2019 seeing the 80th anniversary of the much-loved film, this fun-filled family musical takes you on a magical journey, following Dorothy and her dog, Toto, as they are swept away in a tornado and find themselves in the magical land of Oz!

Dorothy must brave new challenges and forge new friendships as she travels to the Emerald City in the hopes of meeting the Wizard so that he can send her home to Kansas. On her travels she meets a whole host of whimsical characters in a place where witches, lions that talk, scarecrows that walk, men made of tin and flying monkeys are a normal everyday occurrence.

This stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic novel keeps all of the well known and loved songs from the 1939 film including Ding Dong, The Witch is Dead, Follow the Yellow Brick Road, If I Only Had A Brain and, of course, Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

With over 100 people in the company, extravagant sets, bright costumes and a professional 10-piece orchestra, this promises to be the event of the Summer! So, slip on your ruby red slippers and follow the Yellow Brick Road down to Warwick Arts Centre.
