Due to the Covid-19 pandemic it has been decided that the next RAWKUS collection will be cancelled but the University has put plans in place to collect food and other items for donation where possible. Many thanks to everyone for your support. To be notified of the next collection please sign up to the RAWKUS mailing list.
RAWKUS is a project that aims to save food surplus from kitchens across campus when students leave halls at the end of term/year. Tonnes of food and other items have been saved from ending up in the bin and have been given to local charities and food banks. We have saved more than 35 tonnes since it began!
This is only made possible by having volunteers willing to spend some time to help. The next collection will take place:
Cancelled: 27th/28th June (8am-6pm)
