About

UniDrive is a carpooling app that makes students commute from cities to campus much easier. It connects drivers with empty seats in their car with passengers looking for a ride. We started with only commuting to/from Leamington and campus but we are now expanding the surroundings around the University but still restricted to Warwick students. We are also incorporating new features in the second version that will allow societies on campus to advertise for their events and then let our users find rides to and from those events.

Aim

We are looking to achieve sustainability through ensuring that no cars are left with empty seats leading to a reduction in gas emission and a reduction of cars in parking lots. We also want to make it more affordable for students who commute - they can now easily pay for the maintenance of their cars. It is also more comfortable and reliable than using the bus considering the massive queues at rush hour and the lack of buses to meet the demand.

Needs

We need help promoting our app on campus and getting as much help from the University as possible.
