How have the Ancient Greek and Roman worlds shaped modern cultures and societies? Discover more about Classics and Ancient History at Warwick.
At Warwick, we’ll help you experience why the ancient world has had such a wide-ranging influence on arts, philosophy, architecture and much more besides. Our innovative programme of modules goes beyond what’s often found in higher education – we teach topics that will capture the imagination, challenge your preconceptions and are inspired by the most recent research.
Warwick’s Classics and Ancient History Department is ranked 6th in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 and 7th in The Complete University Guide 2019, demonstrating our excellence as a department. Many of our department lecturers have won University and national awards for their teaching, and we have been rated the top Classics department in the country for research income per capita – research excellence that our students benefit from directly through the modules we teach and from working with us on research projects.
We will be offering an excellent opportunity for students to hear from academic staff and current and former students. The event will be hosted at our London premises in King’s Cross.
At the event, you will learn about: our Classical Civilisation degree, our Ancient History and Classical Archaeology degree, our Classics degree and our Classics and English degree. You’ll also hear about the admissions criteria for Warwick, our excellent graduate opportunities, and our exciting intercalated year abroad programme.
Dates and Times: 5.00pm - 7.00pm, 5th February 2019
Light refreshments will be provided. Students, teachers and parents most welcome.
