English Information Evening

Uncover startling revelations. Awaken your passions. Study English at Warwick.

If you are passionate about reading and writing and would love to develop these interests, then an English course at Warwick may be perfect for you.

Warwick’s English and Comparative Literary Studies Department is one of the leading departments in the UK and the world, ranked 10th in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 and 20th according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018, and 1st in the UK for the quality of its research in the last REF.

Our English degree leads the field in its commitment to both tradition and innovation in literatures from across the world; our English and Creative Writing course boasts an acclaimed list of writers; while our new English and History degree invites you to think about, question, and blur the line between history and literature.

We will be offering an excellent opportunity for students to hear from academic staff and current and former students. This event will be hosted at our London premises in King’s Cross.

At the event, you will learn about: our English Literature degree, our English and Theatre degree, our English and History degree, our English and Creative Writing degree, and our joint degrees with Philosophy, Modern Languages and Film. You will also hear about the admissions criteria for Warwick, our excellent graduate opportunities, and our exciting intercalated year abroad programme.
