Are you interested in studying the impact of solutions on today's society? Does learning more about these challenges and contributing to debates excite you? Do you see yourself as an aspiring global citizen who wants to make a difference to our world, now and in the future? If so, studying Global Sustainable Development (GSD) at Warwick might be for you.
The GSD programmes at Warwick have been constructed around the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Agenda. They encourage you to think about solutions to today’s 'Big Questions', such as water scarcity, climate change, human rights, wealth inequality, bodies and health, 'green growth', and sustainable finance.
Our courses are uniquely transdisciplinary in design, offering our students the opportunity to apply learning from different disciplines. You’ll find yourself in workshop situations where your own disciplinary perspective is sought and challenged by those who have contrasting concerns and priorities. By bringing together different perspectives, we prepare you for the realities of a rapidly changing social, economic and environmental global order. You will graduate with a rich skill set, priming you to tackle the big issues shaping today's world.
We are offering an excellent opportunity for students to hear from academic staff and current students from the Global Sustainable Development Department. The information evening will be hosted at our London premises in King’s Cross. During the session, you’ll hear about our BASc Single Honours and Joint Honours programmes. You’ll also be introduced to the admissions criteria for Warwick, our excellent student societies (including societies formed by GSD students), our professional development certificates, and the exciting study abroad and work placement opportunities available to GSD students at Warwick.
Date and Time: 5.00pm - 7.00pm Wednesday 22nd January 2020
