Renowned academics and speakers

Lord Skidelsky delivering a lecture at Warwick Economics Summer School

At the Summer School, students are able to debate and discuss issues with renowned academics such as Professor Ken Binmore, CBE, Marcus Miller and Abhinay Muthoo. We also attract top guest speakers and offer interactive sessions with eminent public figures. Nobel Prize winner George Akerlof, the former Cabinet Secretary and Head of the UK Civil Service Lord Gus O’Donnell and eminent economist Lord Robert Skidelsky have all spoken in previous years.

The lecturers were really friendly and helped you out if you needed anything and the course covered a wide range of topics.

London, our Capital City on your doorstep

Warwick Economics Summer School students in London

London is the political, economic and cultural capital of the UK. With a history stretching back over thousands of years, London is full of world-class tourist attractions (many free), top restaurants, beautiful open spaces and brilliant shopping as well as being one of the most diverse cities across the globe.

I had an unforgettable and wonderful experience. I love the UK and University of Warwick, and I want to go back to Warwick in the future as a graduate student.
