The British Science Festival is coming to the University of Warwick and we want your school or college to be involved!
From the 10th-13th September 2019, Europe’s longest-established science festival will be hosted by the University of Warwick, showcasing the latest cutting edge research and technology. The Festival will explore the ways in which science impacts on our lives and shine a light on what the future holds for us all. Aimed at a non-specialist audience and all entirely free-to-attend, the Festival’s mission is to transform the diversity and inclusivity of science; to reach new audiences; and increase the number of people who are actively engaged and involved in science.
Schools and Colleges’ Programme
As part of the festival, we are putting together a free, bespoke programme specifically for schools and colleges. We are offering the chance for you to bring up to 20 students from years 12 or 13 to the campus to hear from a range of inspirational, exciting, and engaging speakers. Students will also meet with regional employers and careers experts, and have the opportunity to explore the University campus
We are keen to emphasise that the programme is not just for those students studying science; all the events will be accessible to a wide audience and will engage with topics which are cross-curricular and relevant to the broadest audience.
Places are very limited and priority booking for schools and colleges will open on 1st May.
However, you can pre-register your interest and be the first to find out more information by emailing:
