For 50 years, we’ve earned an international reputation for doing things differently and breaking new ground. That’s why, for our 50th anniversary in 2015, we're hosting our first Festival of the Imagination. The Festival will be fun, accessible and endlessly enlightening. Our classic university campus, will transform into a colourful, daring and vibrant arena, a place where the future comes first.

Our Schools’ Day, on Friday 16th October, designed for groups of year six pupils, provides opportunities for them to meet top academics from a broad range of disciplines. You and your pupils will take part in three activities, including an interactive demonstration in our Future of Science Zone, and time in the National Grid Discovery Zone. We've also teamed up with the Centre of Professional Education here at the University; their PGCE students will meet your group on arrival and guide you for the whole of your visit.
