Enterprising students are creating jobs for themselves and others. Student societies for entrepreneurs are thriving at the University of Warwick. And these are not just social societies and talking shops but a place where highly committed and enterprising young people are researching markets, putting together business plans and launching companies. A recent HEFCE report highlighted the £2.7bn that student enterprises contributed to the UK economy in 2013. The Warwick Enterprise Partnership at the University of Warwick is putting together a package of support for student entrepreneurs by drawing on the support of Warwick alumni and local business people.
