What happens next? From exit strategies to local lockdowns, how our research is informing public health interventions.
As communities around the globe exit from the coronavirus lockdown, you can learn more about how Warwick academics are informing the debate on the exit strategy, by attending our second alumni webinar on The Institute for Global Pandemic Planning, on Friday 17 July.
During this session the Provost, Professor Christine Ennew, will be joined by Dr Mike Tildesley - a member of the SPI-M group, the epidemiological modelling arm of the government’s influential SAGE committee and Warwick’s Zeeman Institute, - with Dr Oyinlola Oyebode, an expert in Public Health from Warwick Medical School.
Along with responding to your questions, they will discuss Mike’s role in developing the workplace model as part of the UK government’s exit strategy and Oyinlola’s expertise on the role of individual choice and the responsibility of government in shaping public health interventions to support those communities most at-risk from the virus.
