When were you at Warwick?
I completed an MSc in Economics and Industrial Organisation during 2010-11. My tutor was Jeremy Smith and my dissertation director was Prof. Michael Waterson.

Do you have any fond memories?
I have many of them, for instance, I remember the intense football games we used to play against professors and PhD students. Also, I remember the valuable conversations and discussions that I used to have with my tutor, my professors and my colleagues. Finally, I used to enjoy all the extracurricular activities that the Department, the Students Union and the University arranged like the arts festival, the Economics Summit, quiz nights, among others.

Where did you live while you were at Warwick?
I stayed in campus in Lakeside Block 3.

What are you doing now?
I just founded my own economic consulting firm and also I am currently lecturing on industrial organisation in the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, one of the most important universities in Ecuador.

Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
I feel really proud of being a Warwick alumnus because of the growing prestige that the university has, and also, because of all the things that I learned in Warwick, that heIped me to become a sucessful economist. Therefore, I would like to help others to have the same amazing experience that I had in Warwick, and that will also help them to become better professionals and finally to keep contributing to increase the recognition that the University has.

What kind of events do you run? Do you get a good turnout?
I do not have a vast experience in arranging events. Nevertheless, I do have several contacts that would make the arrangement of the different events that I am planning to organise much easier. Also, given that I am a lecturer, many of my students are really interested in studying abroad so they could actually attend and get information about the university. Also, I intend to get to know more Warwick alumni so they can attend these events.

Have you been back to Warwick recently?
Last time I went to Warwick was in January 2012 in order to attend the graduation ceremony.
