What did you study at Warwick?
I studied at Warwick from 1987-1990 in Theatre Studies with Professor David Thomas, Clive Barker and the whole team.
Do you have any fond memories?
I loved my time at Warwick! As the only full-time American student at the University, I learned so much about other cultures and made amazing life-long friends!
Where did you live?
Year one - Benefactors, year two - Kenilworth (beautiful!!!), year three - Tocil Flats
Were you a member of any societies?
I founded the American Society in my second year. While I was the only full-time American student at the University, we had American Junior Year Abroad students, as well as people just interested in American society.
What's your job?
After Warwick, I returned to the States where I got my MBA. Combining that with my Theatre Studies degree, I worked in the administration of professional theatres and classical music organisations throughout the country.
Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
I enjoy any opportunity I have to share my experiences with others, particularly international students and to address any concerns they may have. Warwick offers the highest of academic excellence. The administration, faculty, and staff are nurturing, open and the very best in their field.
What kind of events do you run? Do you get a good turnout?
We have held quite a few events with local alumni and they have been very well-received!
Have been back to Warwick for a reunion?
I visited Warwick a few years ago and couldn't believe how much it had grown and expanded! I had to ask directions many times!
Anything else you'd like to add?
If you are considering Warwick for your chosen path of study, you can't go wrong.
