To mark the occasion of 65th anniversary of the establishment of the City of Coventry Training College, subsequently the Coventry College of Education, the University is hosting a reunion event on Saturday 19th October 2013 at Arden House, Westwood (the former College site). The event will give guests the opportunity to renew acquaintances, catch up with old friends and ‘take a walk down memory lane’.
The reunion will run from 10.30am – 4.30pm and the programme will include tours of the ‘College’ site, a memorabilia exhibition, viewings of the original college videos and an opportunity to view the newly refurbished Arden accommodation. A copy of the special edition Mosiac magazine will be available. Refreshments will be available throughout the day and will include morning coffee, a delicious lunch and afternoon tea
The guest speaker will be Dr Adam Boddison, Academic Principal: International Gateway for Gifted Youth at the University of Warwick who will talk about ‘Connecting and Challenging the World’s Brightest Minds'. Adam is an alumnus of Warwick four times over. He started at the University in 2000 as an undergraduate studying for his BSc in Mathematics.
