Friends of the University of Warwick in Hong Kong

Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Nigel Thrift is delighted to join members of the Warwick community at a drinks reception to celebrate the launch of the Friends of the University of Warwick in Hong Kong, with Friends Chairman Roy Chung on:

Keynote speech by Professor Thrift at 18:45

As we approach the University's 50th anniversary in 2015, this event will be an opportunity for alumni and friends of the University to connect, catch up and celebrate the rich shared history between Warwick and Hong Kong.

We will also mark the creation of the Friends, whose board consists of senior representatives from our Hong Kong alumni and the University. The Friends is a newly recognised charitable vehicle, allowing HK based donors to give tax-efficiently to projects of mutual benefit to the University and our HK community.

We will showcase some of the ways members of our Hong Kong community are already making a significant impact with gifts of time, energy and donations to support students, research and overseas development, and discuss opportunities for supporters to get involved.

We are excited to welcome our friends and alumni, old and new, to the Asia Society and look forward to seeing you there.

If you would like to join us in this celebration please book here.
