The University of Warwick Press team would like to invite Warwick’s alumni in the media to a drinks reception taking place at The Shard in London on Thursday 2nd June from 6.00-8.00pm.
There will be the opportunity to speak to a selection of our most engaging academics about their current research projects as well as a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues over nibbles and drinks. The event will include direct access to new and forthcoming publications by our academics.
Taking place on 2 June 2016, just weeks before the UK’s referendum on 23 June, this has given a strong theme to our event. Brexit and what it could mean for Britain will be briefly discussed by three of our academics conducting cutting edge research in this area:
- Professor Wyn Grant (Politics and International Studies) – Brexit impact on UK agriculture and food industry
- Dr Tom Flynn (School of Law) – Brexit impact on UK citizens and UK constitution
- Professor Nigel Driffield (Warwick Business School) – Brexit impact on inward investment for the UK
Booking is essential for this event and numbers are limited, to book your place please visit the website.
