Public lecture on the art of Leonardo da Vinci and modern day radiology

Peter AbrahamsNUS Singapore Department of Anatomy and Professor Peter Abrahams, Institute of Clinical Education, WMS, would like to invite any Singapore-based alumni to a public lecture:

  • Title: Public Lecture on the art of Leonardo da Vinci and modern day radiology
  • Date: Wednesday 27 February 2013
  • Time: 18:00-19:30
  • Venue: LT35, MD6, Centre for Translational Medicine, NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, 14 Medical Drive, Singapore 117599

This lecture should be of interest to anyone from both science and arts backgrounds and looks at Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical art work with the eye of a modern medical imaging viewpoint as he predicted much of what doctors use technically these days.

The lecture is similar to the one Professor Abrahams gave this last summer in Buckingham Palace and he is now co-curating a similar exhibition for HRH in Hoylroode Palace for the 2013 Edinburgh festival this coming summer.

It should be a very enlightening lecture and I hope you will be able to attend.

More information can be found here. Please email the Convenor Dr Ang Eng-Tat if you would like to attend.
