All alumni and friends in Singapore are invited to attend a lecture given by the Chancellor of the University of Warwick, Sir Richard Lambert, entitled The great convergence: why some low income countries will continue to catch up with the rich developed economies of the West, and some will fail.

Sir Richard Lambert has a wealth of experience in the business and higher education world. He is the former Director-General of the CBI and was knighted in the 2011 New Year Honours for service to business. Sir Richard was appointed as a member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee, a position he held from Spring 2003 until Spring 2006.
