Warwick in London event: What now for the new President of the United States of America?

Following the most lamentable US election campaign in living memory, voters in America will go to the polls on 8 November to decide their next President. The results should be clear by the following day so we'd like to invite alumni to a timely event which will:

  • analyse the election results across the country's states;
  • look back over the extraordinary campaign and consider the implications of such divisive politics for the future state of the nation;
  • perhaps draw some parallels to post-BREXIT Britain;
  • discuss lessons learned from the two main political parties, both of whose candidates polled record low popularity ratings throughout the contest.
  • When: Wednesday 9 November, 6-7.30pm
  • Location: The event will take place in our new London base, which is a short distance from Euston Station. - Warwick in London, The Stanley Building, 7 Pancras Square, London N1C 4AG
  • Format: Panel discussion with questions and engagement from the floor. The debate will be followed by a networking reception.
