Warwick in Venice alumni lecture

VeniceAlumni are invited to the Warwick in Venice Lecture in History, to be given this year by Dr Humfrey Butters FRHistS, whom many of Venice programme graduates will remember from their Venice term.

Dr Butters, now Emeritus Reader in the Department of History, will speak on the subject ‘Why does Machiavelli matter?’ His lecture will take place on Friday 31 October 2014, at 6 pm in Warwick’s base in Venice, the Palazzo Pesaro Papafava (Calle de la Rachetta, Cannaregio). It will be followed by drinks in the Palazzo to which you are also warmly invited.

Please let us know if you would like to attend by emailing: venice@warwick.ac.uk

We would also like to alert you to the fact that Warwick in Venice will be playing an active part in the University’s 50th anniversary celebrations, to be held in 2015. We will be in touch with you a little later with more detailed information about our Venice plans. Meanwhile, please keep in touch with our Venice news, and news about the 50th anniversary events through our Warwick in Venice website.
