On 19th November 2012, the University of Warwick will be hosting a Parliamentary Reception for our alumni working in Westminster, Whitehall and the wider policy community. The purpose of the event is to celebrate the achievements of University of Warwick alumni in the field of politics. We also hope that guests will be able to use the evening to discover new connections, both to each other and the University; with the intention being to establish a network and series of events for our alumni working in this area.
The event is taking place in the House of Commons from 7pm and will begin with a champagne reception, with drinks and canapes served throughout.
The evening will be hosted by the University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nigel Thrift and Warwick Alumnus Lord Gus O'Donnell has kindly agreed to deliver the evening's key note address.
The Rt Hon. Mark Pawsey MP for Rugby has kindly agreed to be our Parliamentary Sponsor for the reception.
We expect an extremely high-level of interest for this event and ticket numbers are limited in accordance with the size of the venue - so please book your place ASAP by filling in this registration form.
