Warwick alumni around the world have been very active on the social front recently. From New York and Brussels to Geneva and Shenzhen, they have been meeting to catch up, renew acquaintances and network with fellow graduates...
New York recently saw a group of locally-based alumni meet for lunch at the United Nations building with Professor Nigel Thrift, Vice-Chancellor of the University and Ian Rowley, Director of Development, Communication & Strategy. Whilst dining and admiring the fantastic view, the assembled Warwick graduates had the chance to hear about the latest developments at the University and to learn about ongoing work in alumni relations and development.
Over in Brussels, over 200 alumni from Warwick and other West Midland universities met with friends of the region to highlight the benefits of networking and building relationships and to find out more about recent developments in this region.
In Shenzhen, more than 20 China-based Warwick alumni got together at the Xpats Bar and Lounge to catch up. Meanwhile, Geneva-based Swiss alumni started 2010 in style with an event held jointly with the International Spanish Club of Geneva.
