Warwick alumna and best-selling bridal author Sarah Haywood (née Reid Pitcher, BA Classical Civilisation 1984-88) has been chosen as one of eight women to receive Pink Shoe Icon Awards at a ceremony which took place at the House of Commons.
The awards are given to inspiring women of outstanding achievement, nominated by their peers.
The Pink Shoe Club was established in 2007, by entrepreneur and Senior Parliamentary Advisor Helene Martin Gee. It aims to focus a positive spotlight on high-achieving females and celebrate successful women from a variety of fields. Pink Shoe Icons act as a beacon for others proving that with determination anything is possible.
