Warwick sport over the years

Do you recognise yourself or anyone you know in these photos? Let us know...

I arrived at Warwick in October 1982 and left in July 1987 having had the best sporting experiences possible. Friendship, competition, quality facilities, participation, social life and evenings to remember a plenty encapsulates the experience of myself and so many others.

Although football and cricket (as well as intramural football and netball!) were my sports the AU was so much more for all of us. The AU Pavilion was a home from home for many of us. Jill and Tad Baptie fed and watered us well there! The 4 o’clock openings were also very welcome.

I was fortunate to extend my time at Warwick through the sabbatical Sports Officer position in 1986/87. I have worked in sport since that year. It is fair to say without the positive experiences Warwick provided my life would have been very different. The Reunion in July will be a chance to catch up with old friends and relive some memorable times.
