WARWICK CONFERENCES AIMS HIGH WITH GOLD HAT-TRICK
Warwick Conferences, the largest commercial business of the University of Warwick, has cause for celebration after announcing today that all three of its training and conference centres have been awarded the prestigious Gold AIM Accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association (MIA).
Endorsed by official bodies such as Visit Britain, Visit England and the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers, the Gold AIM Accreditation is awarded to conference and meeting venues that have scored highly in independent assessment against 50 key criteria including customer service, quality of facilities, compliance with codes of conduct and corporate social responsibility.
David Battersby, who was the assessor on behalf of the MIA said: “The three venues are all operated by a highly trained team of professional staff who benefit from well-structured training which is available throughout the University.
“The catering facilities and standards of food presentation and service are particularly impressive, giving all three venues a strong point of difference in comparison to others operating in a similar market place.”
Alan Robinson, Director of Warwick Conferences’ comments: “We are thrilled that all three of our training & conference centres, Radcliffe, Scarman and Arden, have all been awarded the coveted Gold AIM Higher Accreditation.
“There are only 14 venues in the country so to be at the Gold standard so this is a significant achievement. These awards are testament to the exceptional facilities and outstanding customer service that we pride ourselves on delivering and further cement the reputation of the University of Warwick as a provider of world-class conference facilities.”
