Photos from my walk to campus
Thank you for your weekly updates during lockdown, it's helped me feel more connected to the University as have my colleagues efforts helped me stay connected to the CTU. I’d like to submit these photos and tell you a little about myself if that’s okay?
I have worked at the CTU for 13 years, I live in Canley (where I was born and raised) and as I don’t drive, I walk to work. Every lunchtime I’d take some seed down to the lakes and feed the birds, they knew me so well they’d come flying over with lots of noise as I approached – amusing people passing by. I talked to a lot of people and made friends with a few who regularly walked passed. During lockdown I have only managed to visit campus at the weekend, having taken on jobs for my shielding parents and also being cautious because of my own long-term health condition. So I’ve been taking a few snaps while I’ve been down there, I look at them when I’m missing my feathered friends. I’ve also included a couple from my garden where I’ve been making new friends.
