Test and Trace on campus
Welcome

About Test and Trace at Warwick
We have a dedicated Covid-19 Test and Trace service for both students and staff. If you think you may have Covid-19 symptoms, you'll be able to complete a self-swab test on campus.
Our Covid-19 Test and Trace complements the NHS Test and Trace service and draws on the expertise of colleagues across the University, who have already been assisting the local NHS. Warwick's own Test and Trace service operates in line with government guidelines.
Please note, this is an appointment-only service, for staff and students who think they may have Covid-19 symptoms.
You should not use public transport, taxis or private hire cares to travel to a testing facility. Find out how to request a home testing kit via NHS.
How to book an asymptomatic test
If you don't have symptoms, you need to book an asymptomatic test. The Test and Trace service is for people with symptoms. If you are looking to book your asymptomatic tests for your return in Term 2, you will need to book a different kind of test.
How to book an appointment if you have symptoms
If you think you may have Covid-19 symptoms, you'll be able to complete a self-swab test on campus – with guidance from a Test Administrator. The service will be accessible, with parking available.
We aim to get your test result back to you within 48 hours. We’ll also do all your contact tracing, to enable us to quickly reduce transmission rates across campus and the surrounding community. Find out more about how it works.
If you have tested positive off-campus
If you have been tested off-campus and received a positive result, you will need to tell us too. Support teams will contact you with further guidance and assistance.
Use our normal booking form to tell us if you have tested positive for Covid-19 off-campus
Received your result directly from the NHS after taking a test at the Warwick Test and Trace centre? There’s no need to complete a form again – we will contact you.
Keeping you safe
We’re committed to protecting the welfare of our community. This service is one of a range of safety measures we’re putting in place to ensure that all aspects of University life are as safe as possible.
